Repsol Honda Team sign Adriaan_26 for MotoGP eSport Championship challenge
The reigning MotoGP eSport Champion has been signed by the Repsol Honda Team for the 2021 eSport season as the Repsol Honda Team hunt their first virtual title.
Adrian ‘Adriaan_26’ Montenegro has been a mainstay of the MotoGP eSport Championship since its inception and has been able to consistently deliver top-quality results. With five wins and seven pole positions from eight races, Adriaan_26 was a force to be reckoned with in 2020 and he has no intention of letting his title go away.
For 2021 Adriaan_26 will run in the iconic Repsol colours, previously worn by his racing hero Dani Pedrosa, as the Repsol Honda Team powered by OMEN aims to add a virtual Championship to their 15 Riders’ World Championships. The 2021 MotoGP eSport Global Series will run over four rounds, as the 11 gamers chosen by MotoGP teams battle it out over eight total races.
