With the MotoGP World Championship just moments away from returning to action under the Qatar floodlights, Repsol Honda Team Race Engineers Santi Hernandez and Ramon Aurin sat down to reflect on 2020 and preview what’s coming.

Santi Hernandez will continue to work with Stefan Bradl during the Qatar Test, the combination eager to carry on the form they found at the end of 2020. With Marc Marquez still recovering, Hernandez and his team will be working with Bradl to understand the 2021 upgrades to the Honda RC213V ahead of the season.

Ramon Aurin’s side of the Repsol Honda Team box are aiming to get new signing Pol Espargaro up to speed as quickly as possible with limited testing time available before the opening race. Getting the number 44 comfortable on the Honda will be the first order of business before working on improving his feeling and speed with the bike.

Full transcripts for Santi Hernandez can be found here, with transcripts for Ramon Aurin’s interview available here.
